New mechanism of accessing the upload from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information of RoskomnadzorJuly 5, 2018
Telecom operators with Roskomnadzor (the Federal Service for supervision of communications, information technology, and mass media) involvement continue migrating to a new mechanism for accessing the upload from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information, which significantly speeds up the process of restricting access to illegal information.
The new mechanism has been successfully implemented on the networks of about 500 operators, including all trunk lines. Networks of another 30 operators are being fully tested.
Operators receive only new resources or with network address changed (so-called “delta”) providing the significant advantage of reducing the time from adding the Internet resources to the Unified Register to their restriction by telecoms operators, making it 5 times faster.
At the same time, the new mechanism of delta upload forming is not mandatory for operators to introduce on their networks, being an additional measure to improve the efficiency in restricting access to illegal information.
The new mechanism has been also implemented in the traffic filtering system KROZ by CJSC NORSI-TRANS (www.kroznt.ru)
